Seaview Beach House

- the property

After the success of Bacton Beach House - we acquired another Beach House with the same if not more extraordinary sea views, above the beach with access a few yards away. Seaview Beach House is larger than it's sister property and sleeps 6.
You walk into an open plan living/dining/kitchen area where there is a large Victorian farmhouse, pine dining table, seating 6 comfortably. There is a fully equipped kitchen to the right with all amenities including a dishwasher. Seaviews of course! There is a very large and comfortable 4 seater sofa, and a 2 seater Sofa, a brand new 32 inch Flat Screen Freesat Television and DVD/CD player. There is a new and very efficient Log burner in the original charming brick fireplace plus there is also full central heating in the Beach House - all electricity costs are included in the price. Once again, there are a number of games, books and leaflets about the local area and a pair of binoculars to study the local bird-life or passing ships.

In front of the main living area is the `Sun room` it has windows all around with wooden blinds - extraordinary sea panoramas of course! - two single beds, which also double as seating areas in the day. This room can be closed off from the main living areas by two wooden bi-fold doors. There are occasional tables, and a large scrubbed pine coffee table, plus low lamps.

As usual, the kitchen is fully equipped with crockery, glassware, pots, pans, cutlery etc and a stainless steel sink and drainer. There is a full size electric oven, four ring electric hob, microwave oven and a fridge/freezer . A brand new Bosch dishwasher, 4 slice Toaster, Kettle and kitchen scales. The dining area is adjacent.

To the right of the sitting room area there is an en-suite Double bedroom and bathroom - the bathroom has a bath, sink and toilet. The bedroom has a 4'6" Double Bed, scrubbed pine chest of drawers and two side tables with lamps.

Turning left from the main living area and through a small hallway with windows and sea views, turn left into the main bathroom which has a Power shower cubicle, toilet and wash basin, and this is also where the full-sized washing machine is housed.

Straight ahead from the hallway is the huge 18 foot long twin bedded room - the beds are 2'6" singles and can also be pushed together to form a 5ft Double.

There is a triple Edwardian wardrobe and a large 3 piece conservatory suite facing the extraordinary sea views.

As with all holiday rental properties we ask you to bring sheets, pillow cases, duvet covers and towels. We can supply all of these if you're coming by train, bike, foot or from abroad etc for a weekly supplement of £40.00.

Seaview Beach House is also very well insulated and draughtproofed and retains the warmth through it's timber construction when the weather is colder.

The antique pine floor throughout helps this process. Both of the main bedrooms are carpeted.

The wood - burning fire uses logs or coal which are available locally. Please note : the fire gets very hot and in operation needs to be opened with the glove supplied and is not ideal to use with young children.

We're very sorry to say that at present we cannot accommodate pets and there is a strict no smoking policy throughout the Beach House. Also, because of the construction of the building there is a strict ban on the use of candles on the property.

The changeover day is Friday and we ask holidaymakers to vacate by 10am, and to arrive after 3.00pm. to give the cleaner time to prepare the Beach house.

There is car parking for up to three cars within the grounds of the property. We would ask you not to park anywhere else as this will cause an obstruction to our neighbours and the emergency services.

Please contact us through the contact form if you require any further information.
